With over 20 years Accountancy experience, a National Diploma in Accounting and an active membership with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SA), SAIPA and the South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT), Deryck is both the namesake and the front-face behind Umpleby and Associates.

Contrary to accountant stereotypes, he loves to gym, swim and spend time away from his computer (and calculator) in the sunny outdoors!

Barbara is part of the Umpleby and Associates furniture (except that she’s lasted longer as there’s been a refurb!)

With a Bcom Degree in Accounting and an active membership with the South African Institute for Business Accountants (SAIBA) & the South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT), she is Deryck’s 2IC in Accounting, Taxation & Advisory.

But more importantly, she loves furry creatures, especially those with tails that wag!

Heidi is our Bookkeeping & Secretarial guru with an invested 20+ years at Umpleby.

We believe it’s by stealing away to Game Reserves whenever she can, that she has retained her sanity!

Angie has been with Umpleby and Associates for over a decade, heading up Bookkeeping and Payroll.

She has the patience of a saint and keeps the team going as the self-appointed office Tea Lady.
